Why You Should Visit The Manor House Garden In Stevington

If, like many people, you’re planning a staycation in the UK after the lockdown restrictions are lifted then you may want to start searching for hotels near Bedford to allow you to explore the beauty of the Great Ouse Valley.

Research carried out by CabinBooker and shared by the Express recently revealed that 90 per cent of Brits intend to go on a trip somewhere in the UK later in 2020, and 86 per cent of them are looking forward to a countryside escape rather than a city break.

If you’re planning a trip to Stevington, you should make sure that the Manor House Garden is on your list of places to visit. This is a charming place to spend a few hours surrounded by nature.

The National Garden Scheme explained that this outdoor area is made up of six art-inspired gardens, making it a delight to explore.

Kathy and Simon Brown are behind the beautiful designs in the gardens, which was named the Nation’s Favourite Garden in the East Region in the 2019 awards, which are organised by the National Garden Scheme and English Garden Magazine, the Bedford Independent reported.

The Manor House Garden is usually open on Tuesdays during the spring and summer months. Although it is currently closed to visitors due to the Covid-19 outbreak, it will hopefully have an opportunity to open to the public later in the year to showcase its summer blooms.

Kathy told the newspaper that the wildflower meadow is at its most vibrant during July, while she also loves seeing all of the roses in bloom during June.
